Still Summer!!

Summer isn´t over yet!! Today we had such a wonderful weather.

Blue sky and no clouds. Sunshine and 20C (68F) is good enough

for me September 29. Don´t had to freeze inside my house either!!

Hudiksvall in the northern part of Sweden had 25,6C (78F).

Hope this weather will continue tomorrow so I can enjoy the

sunshine in the sunlounger!!

A Message of Love!!

Yesterday I was on a fantastic concert in the Alliance Church in Jonkoping.
The singers were called "One in Christ" and they were from different churches
and places in Sweden. The songs were written by Anna Weister Andersson
and they were so wonderful to listen to.
Besides these singers attended Per-Erik Hallin, (Once playing piano and singing
with Elvis Presley), Peter Johansson and the guitarist Peter Friestedt.
What a lovely evening!!

Luckily they won!!

This is from Kinnarps Arena in Jönköping.
Tonight it wasn´t floorball as last Wednesday
but ice hockey between HV71-Luleå!!
Of course you always want HV71 to win!!
After the 3 periods it was 2-2. Then they had
sudden death in 5 minutes but it was still 2-2.
The end of the match was penalties and then HV71 won. ´
The end result was 3-2!!

Last goal in the final second!!

Tonight me and Helena were on a floorball match in the Nyhem Hall

between MAIS from Mullsjö and JIK from Jönköping. I must say it was very

exciting!! Of course I cheered on the team from Jönköping. When the match

was over it was 6-6. Then they had sudden death in 5 minutes, and in the final

second JIK scored a goal to 6-7!!

Here comes a crawler!!

Have to show you when I saw my grandchild crawling on the floor the first time!!
It was such a surprise!! Once he had grown up and become a big boy!!
And he likes to watch Youtube too, as you see!!
Earlier yesterday he was sitting between his mother and me in the church!!

What a day!!

What a weather it was today! Totally amazing! We have been waiting so long for the sun to shine in the sky! Today it was a clear blue sky from morning to night!
I was in Jönköping today. Couldn´t resist to snap some photos of Munksjön (The Monk Lake). The water was so still and it wasn´t windy at all. I even managed to get a spider web to get caught in my camera mobile phone!!

When I was walking on Storgatan (The High Street), I met my oldest daughter and my grandchild there. What a surprise! They were so kind, so they drove me to A6 in their car. So I didn´t have to wait on the city bus!
Look what I saw in the parking at A6. Such a gem! I have always had a weakness for "the Americans!"

The sun turned out today!!

Finally the sun turned out today, although not the clouds disappeared completely. It lightens up the mood of course all around me when the sun will shine. Especially when the calendar starts to sound like autumn come and knock on the door. Birch leaves are yellow and started to fall off the trees for quite a while ago. Have always had difficulty with the fall. It's so far for spring! Especially if there is such a winter as the last two years. But I know that after winter comes a spring and that is just to wait until ít´s here!

I saw a blue and purple mushroom today. Is it anyone who knows what sort of mushrooms it is?? Is it a deadlly death cap??

And it was lovely to see it was still summer!!

102 minutes that changed America.

I have just watched a documentary about the terrorist attacks in the World Trade Center September 11, 2001. Was reminded of that awful day when many innocent people had to die because the four planes that were hijacked and then carried out the attacks. Remember the days when I heard on the radio what had happened and immediately turned on the TV and got in live broadcasting to see how an airplane was flying straight into the second Twin Tower. It is still equally incomprehensible than how such a thing could happen.
Because we one month earlier 2001 came home from a trip in the U.S.A, I felt much of reflection. My daughter and my parents were up in The Sears Tower in Chicago. It would have happened there too???

New times!!

Could not believe it was true on Monday when we received a message from our newspaper. They would begin distributing the newspaper in the mornings here where we live. I almost got a little shock and thought it was hardly true. I phoned the newspaper and asked. Oh yes it was true. They had been out at our box and sat on a red tape on it. We who live in the country are accustomed to the one after the other disappears, but finally we got something instead!

Now a year has passed again, and I am one year older! Not much to do anything about it! I do not understand where the days are going. I wish I could get more done.
I'm not the one who likes to give birthday celebrations. Sure it makes me happy when the family says happy birthday, the phone might ring or the mobile sms!
Samuel came with a very nice and healthy gift that he picked for me; Rowanberries, which last the entire year in the freezer! Victoria had baked a lovely mudcake and Helena bought a beautiful Cyclamen from all of them. They are really kind! But the finest gift was that I could hug my little grandchild! He turns 1 in October, so then it will be really fun to celebrate him!
